Job details
I am currently representing a Top Construction company who are seeking to recruit an Assistant Technical Coordinator. My client is currently one of the biggest residential Construction companies in the country, turning over in excess of £900 million and opting to build quality over quantity. This position will require the Assistant Technical Coordinator to be based from the office for the first year for planning and then based on site.
The Position
Reporting directly into the Technical Lead, you will be required to Provide architectural support and technical guidance for site-based operations. Organise and control design development in accordance with Construction programmes. You will also drive liaison with local and statutory authorities, ensuring progress is maintained. You will also progress the discharge of all planning conditions, liaise and coordinate with Design consultants and coordinate drawing issues.
The Project
This project will consist of over 200 high specification residential units, across 6 RC Frame blocks varying between 5 and 9 Storeys. This will be a mix of market sale, and affordable housing with a mix of 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom apartments. The proposed development creates a vibrant new neighbourhood with associated footpaths and landscaping.
